If the consumer you are informing is a alter-id of the scammer which is likely he will turn you in for contacting buyers and ebay will suspend you. -

You often see scammers use recoloring or defacing to cover the area where the missing pixel should be (or not be i suppose) lol. -

It is common for eBay scammers to glue a counterfeit or reprint card to cardboard or a piece of paper in an attempt to hide the back which would be spotted as bogus immediately.
