I have a metal detecting outting planned next week! (Results addded)

I'll be hiking about 5 miles in to an older mill campsite from the late 1890s with my Ace 350 with 10x14" DD Excelerator and DetectorPro Pistol Probe. Zoins, I did bundle all my silver proofs and Modern Proof Roosies, then sold them at Heritage in April, 2013. The change in heart was directly linked to that passed auction of the 1961 Franklin. As a cameo, it is a $90-$100 coin without the milk spot. I’d probably wait until melt value hit around $75-$80 for it. I agree with you it warrants a CAM grade despite the label. Here's a thought. The silver proof version of these quarters have a problem with hazing, even in slabbed holders. And look at the silver eagles with their ugly milk spots. Many attribute the milk spots to improper washing at the mint. I personally won't buy any more slabbed eagles because of this. I have stored these in…
