Re: Question about the Buy, Sell and Trade forum??
It's fine to make an offer on anything. The worse they can say is "No thanks". Don't get your feelings hurt. Sometimes if you dicker around too long in negotiations someone will come along and pay the full asking price, so think about that also. While most sellers will give you first refusal, some (probably less than 1%)… -
Re: At what point can an Ebay seller cancel a sale?
<< <i>Seller can refuse to complete a sale up to the time he ships it. You cannot prevent him from refunding your money and telling you "no deal." Ebay will not force him to deliver but I believe they will put a "strike" against him if you report it to ebay. Not sure how many "strikes" it takes for ebay to finally take… -
Re: I would like to get started...
it's ironic that you mentioned Hank Paulson and GS. Because of the trading software and money from the Fed Goldman Sachs along with JP Morgan Chase can deploy money from the Fed to speculate in the stock market thus helping to prop up stocks. Eventually this scheme will not work, the money center banks will be touting… -
Re: Sell full set or do set-break?
preowned, you're throwing shots at jordan for his being new at ebay and less than 10 feedback. I myself have given him more than 20 feedback, have him as a favorite seller, and have his auctions in my favorites list. His feedback was over 3000 the last time I looked. He's not new at ebay and he's not a scammer. Most people… -
Re: OT Ebay selling/fraud avoidance question
My 2 cents: In this case I think you're ok. Buyer has been on Ebay since 2004, so he predates the myriad of Chinese scammers that have come out of the woodwork in the last 3 months. However, in my opinion, to protect yourself going forward, you need to exclude China as a country you ship to in your Ebay preferences and… -
Re: Counterfeit John Adams coins, NOT!
<< <i>The refunding of EBAY fees was a very nice appology IMO. >> I think that was their duty, or should I say the least they could do. It amazes me how large the pool of potential eBay employees is (believe me, it's extremely large and most are qualified with college degrees), and how absolutely incompetant most of them… -
Re: Stolen 1927 $20 Saint Gaudens
tbh. it isn't a bad idea. i've watched a lot of his/other glitter bomb/misc packages and while i think there could be a possible law suit from stuff spewing out of a package, even for stolen ones, the live camera feed to see whom is opening packages is great. even if the person on camera pretty sure when using an iphone,… -
dashcam footage of Rashee Rice crash

if you're scoring at home..... a blasted Henry Ruggs gets a few years after trapping a girl and her dog in a car and lighting them on fire a trashed Britt Reid spends less than 2 in the slammer after putting a 5-year-old in a coma. a little girl who now has development delays, takes special education classes and admits to… -
A Jesse Barfield search
Hi, I'm a brand new member here. I was always a huge Barfield fan growing up. I even started a Barfield collection back then. I recently uncovered it again and what I thought was an almost complete collection, was apparently woefully short. So in the last few weeks I've found almost 200 cards that I was missing. But of… -
More eBay "joy"
I put "eBay" in the title so as not to waste the valuable time of board members who feel eBay is not relevant to the coin market, or at least the market that interests them. I sell mostly common numismatic items and silver, gold, and platinum bullion coins. My last auction ended Sunday, 11/6. I was dismayed to see a 0…
