Re: 1925 Buffalo, grading opinions Please?
<< <i> << <i>I have very little experience with the series but it is a beautiful well struck Buffalo--64? If so, worth slabbing. Also looks like it is missing a partial third feather--or is it just my imagination? >> Not to be a constant PIA Bill, but at 64, why is this worth slabbing? Do we really need every coin in a… -
Re: A list of coins in the Smithsonian collection that includes grades?
We have a few that are encapsulated and remain so, others that were graded at one point but since cracked out but that happened before my time. None were submitted by us. If one was donated now (or one we already have), I wouldn't crack it out except for good reason. The collections of museums are there for research… -
Re: Vintage Bowman Football, '51, '52 small question
I love the 51 Bowman set and started collecting it seriously early this year in 7 and 8 condition. So I'm in the same boat with starting to really appreciate them. I've got around 14 graded and 14 raw and am working patiently to build it to a complete set. I love the artwork of the cards and the opportunity to get some of… -

Re: Peace Dollar Error
I'm more of a Vam collector than anything so I "know" vams and their rarity. As far as other types of errors on Peace dollars I can only relate to you the numbers of examples that I have seen in my lifetime (about 1M Peace $) and the prices for which they sold for. Here's the order in which I'd place errors by PRICE: 1)… -

Re: POLL: Lincoln set, Raw or Slabbed????
<< <i>Continue the slabbed collection in MS63RB and higher, and fill the album with nicely matched XF/AU coins. It will be more affordable, more attainable, you won't have to worry about the coins turning, and the filled book will look really nice when completed. >> I've very nearly completed my run of small cents from…
