Another day another scammer counterfeit seller from Morocco
Brand new seller, has two poorly cast, grainy, uneven wear, counterfeit "Carson City" morgans. Good chance this is the same seller that was reported a couple weeks ago. Maybe not, if they are coming from multiple people. I still think the one with the ender roll is a scammer. And I notice now that people are trying to hype regular rolls, as though they wouldn't have been searched. EBay really is turning into a cesspool. Here is an interesting story on scammers in today's Oregonian. I have received several of the citi-bank recently and now come the U.S.Bank ones. 2 today. Scammers & Second Chance Offers...
Does anyone know just how the scammers are able to pick out all the high priced auction lots. This seems to occur in many, many eBay catagories, not just coins, so I am sure they have an "automated" way of spotting the auctions and sending false "second chance" offers. -

Do scammers use this forum as an educational resource?
Has anyone seen any evidence that scammers, probably just lurking, use this forum to measure reaction to their various ploys...and then modify them accordingly?
