There are two possibilities I can think of: 1. The seller has several of the item and only want to take one photo. On things like PR69 moderns this probably makes sense since you couldn't tell the difference from the photo anyway in most cases. 2. Here's a big fat welcome to ya! GAE's are beautiful coins and a nice type addition to a new collection. As a bullion coin its value will fluctuate directly with the price of gold. You paid a fair price based upon current price. Do your homework and when buying coins on ebay I would recommend staying with PCGS, NGC or ANACS… -

It's funny -- eBay doesn't often go after reports of obvious fakes that aren't sold as fakes, which get bid up way too high...and someone advertises clearly and honestly as a fake, asks almost nothing for it, has bidders who want it as a fake...and they pull it. Rules are rules, but all else being equal, it would be nicer… -

The way you do it is to issue a partial refund through Paypal. This will work until Paypal cuts all ties to ebay in the near future. Ebay is able to see your refund and can manually cancel the transaction refunding the FVF fees. Don't know what will happen in the future when Papyal's information is not available to ebay. I… -
