How would PCGS Grade this? Ha Ha Ha
I was thinking about it and I have seen many stupid auctions on ebay, Why not this?? How would PCGS grade this coin. My guess F/XF but I can't get a good picture. Maybe I should dip it, You know, to get the finger prints and Pizza sauce off before I send it in. -
PCGS has graded over 1,000 AU58 Ikes. A single example has received the + grade!
And I was fortunate enough to locate and purchase it. I had missed out on buying one of the only plus graded AU58 1964 Kennedy halves a while back and didn't want to miss out on this single example (within the entire series!) of plus example business strike AU58 Ikes. -
February Special - Vintage Poppage (scans added)

I wonder if this Trade $ has been worked a bit since it was graded.
If you look at the photos from the certificate, you can see what appears to be toning on the lower half the reverse. The closeup of the coin does not show that toning. -

Grading (including designations) is a matter of subjective opinion, which can and does differ from person to person. Here is a True View photo of a 1961 proof half dollar that graded PF68 (no Cameo). It was in the same submission as the 1956 Type 1 PF66CAM. Interesting which coin received the designation and which coin did… -
