ive been switched to managed payments for a yesr now. i still use paypal to check out 100% of the time. even if i didnt, whatever banking/credit establishment i used still would override ebays decision. so even w this rule change there are still 2 ways scammers can still scam and for up to 6 months later. -

you see that on Ebay all the time....scammers can make a lot more money luring the unsuspecting with more obvious freak notes...The BEP has lists of all the sheets sold but uninformed collectors don't know this.....This one is real but is not worth much more than $5 (to someone wanting to pay $5)...since there is only $1… -

If ANY message starts out: Dear ebay user: or Dear PayPal user: It's fake. They've got your name on file. They never start with a generic "user" line. Yea it’s been like this for a wile. A few months a scammer didn’t ship an item and didn’t give my money back and I did it through PayPal. They only accepted email. Turns out though I shouldn’t have gotten rid of the 21 day security. I put it back on but it’s to late and my money is lost forever 😭😭😭 -

This is not the time to be taking chances with bullion buying. Scammers are going to be out there looking for buyers who want a "good deal".
