Misattributed 1825/2 quarter on ebay
Just wanted to draw attention to the Forum audience to an ebay auction for an 1825/2 quarter PCGS VF-20, that in fact is not an 1825/2 but is an 1825/3. The star to the right of the cap is too far away from the cap for it to be an 1825/2. Ebay auction #260102131563. The seller tries to dodge the issue by saying: "I have… -
Wow....2 day turnaround
Two days on the January special! Not my best sub, but Ive had these commons put back for a while and figured I would send them in. I think the coin rub thing on the back is what took down most of them. I think the Hazeltine had the dreaded surface wrinkle on the back 1 1 14838891 NEAR MINT 7 1960 TOPPS 69 LOU MICHAELS Card… -
Re: 2 variety discoveries for 1983 D Washington Quarter

1978-1985 cello's, racks and wax for sale and box of 90 Leaf Series 2

I'm listing them each with the purchase price but I want to sell in at least $20 increments to save on shipping. So pick out a few things that total $20 and I will ship them… -

1821 B-2 Bust Quarter G-T-C : 200 Year Anniversary

For February, we have the 1821 Browning-2 variety large size bust quarter. The 1821 Browning 2 variety is considered somewhat scarce, particularly in higher grades. It is called an R-5- in the Rea/Peterson/Karoleff/Kovach book on bust quarters, and R-4+ in the Tompkins book. The Tompkins book notes that the variety is… -

Fishy 76 Topps Trek

1976 Star Trek #1 PSA $2551 ??? Last one that IMHO looked nicer sold about 8 weeks ago for $375, the one prior in Nov sold for ~$325. 8x that seems very fishy Seller sold a lot of other 1976 Trek many of which were 2-7x FMV. So not just this one card although it was one of the more egregious examples. Pumping scheme?… -
