Re: So what now motivates us to try for top registry sets?
I agree with GlenS. Getting rid of the historical banners makes zero sense. I collect Canada Large Cents and over the past 30 years or so have assembled arguably the best overall set of those cents that currently exists. That was my goal, whether the PCGS Registry existed or not. I chose to enter my sets in the registry… -

Re: Ok. Pokemon card, worth slabbing?
I'd say its absolutely 100% worth slabbing. Just maybe a question of when. There is not much value in submitting a card to PSA for grading today on most cards. I am not even sure what the costs would be but if 150 to become a member and 150 to get the card graded, that is not a great financial opportunity for you. Its an… -
PSA Submission Results -- Holy POP 1 from 1957 Topps! (Picture added)
Threw a sub together for the March special. The 1956's are all from a partial set that I bought on eBay awhile back and not too many surprises there. I thought that the Williams was a 5, but I might have missed something. The 1957's were some stragglers from a collection that I bought a couple of years ago. The obvious… -

Re: Anyone else waiting forever for a Dec. order to POP? 12/1
Sent in an order at end of Dec. to make deadline for special. I usually purchase already graded cards but now and then have a sub. Recently purchased raw cards at Vets show in Columbus. My feeling with 1960 Topps BB is if only one is an 8 I will be happy. I thought they were all almost an 8. Harshman was the best but not… -
