Re: little help please....In over my head to say the least!
I went thru this dilemma a little while back and decided to go with one big auction, rather than 609 auctions (1967set). I figured the extra cash possibly earned by individual auctions would be offset by the aggravation of the possibility of 609 separate winners, i.e. no combined shipping at all, all the work to package… -
Re: 1969 Topps Submission Question
Gemint is right the highs are plentiful. The Gagliano is 609 and another tough card up there is the 626 Michael and the 655 Hershberger. Other than that I cant think of anymore. Re: Going to my 1st National: Could use some advice...
My favorite raw card dealer is Wayne Varner (Shoebox Cards). I believe he will be set up at Booth #609 & 708. Even though I've never dealt with him, a board favorite is Joe Tauriello(sp?) from Set-Builders. Don't know where he will be set up, but he has a great selection of raw material in the grade your looking for. -
Re: Ken Burns' The Tenth Inning
My guess is this will be what they say in part 2... In 1998 Bonds stats were: AVG .303 OBP .438 SLG .609 OPS 1.047 HR 37 RBI 122 SB 28 The guy finished 8TH!!!! in MVP voting. I'm not making any excuses for Barry, but if you believe Ken Burns is making excuses for Bonds venture into steroids in 1999, this is where it starts. -
