I read somwhere once ( I cant remember where) that if the sticker is not touching the auto than the card is not legit. The problem is some scammers made or bought stickers and made their own auto'd cards. I am pretty sure the cards came auto'd on the front and back. matt -

By far, absolutely the best explanation I have ever read in regards to the legal ramifications of grades and the standards that are used in our industry. How many people do you think would......
If there was a contest how many people do you think would lie about their age and try to win the prize.....especially if it were a good prize......gold a car large sum of cash?? We all know there are scammers out there so how's a person to know for sure? -

Personally, I think so but it has it's ups and downs. Some ups? More potential customers for anyone selling and a wider variety of coins for sale. Some downs? Potential scammers and/or tougher to score a good deal. I don't post much but thought this was worthy. Watcha guys think? -

Very high risk of creating a scammer's dream ! Dual dates, new reverse, high relief would do nothing to separate these from a gold plated dollar coin. Crooks will pull out old "Golden Dollar" PR materials and rake in the profits before anyone does anything to stop them. -

That's a puzzler - Doesn't appear to be a compromised holder and no scammer would likely use an OC flip...that would minimize the scam payoff. Just a total guess that the card was graded in the early days of PSA and for "some reason" received an OC...but the card obviously isn't an 8 anyway...more like a 6.5 in my opinion. -

Just take the neg/neutral, if necessary. Scammers (not saying this guy is one, btw) typically look for sellers who obviously "give in" easily to protect their feedback, so you're really better off with a few negs. As long as you respond intelligently to his comments, you'll come out looking fine. -

I got a coin back from PCGS BB for cleaning that my local dealer said would for sure grade 64. I might go see what he has to offer. Grading is subjective I guess. On second thought I probably bought it from him originally. Scammer
