Those spots do look like the proverbial 'milk spots'... but could be something else..... would be worth a bath in acetone...I did not see on ebay, so I guess it is gone now... Sometimes those spots are not milk spots... Cheers, RickO -

GMC, Click here for some information on grading proof coinage. On that '63 half, I'm not convinced that's milk-spotting. It may be water spots. The difference is that milk spotting happens at the mint and is embedded in the planchet, so it can't be removed. That amount of spotting, though, will kill the grade on the coin.… -
