Re: Great boxing photos

"Fearless" Freddie Mills, light heavyweight champion from 1948 to 1950, he was called "Fearless" for a reason. Freddie Mills was more than just a ferocious fighter—he was an enigma wrapped in charisma, grit, and controversy. A relentless warrior in the ring, Mills embodied the spirit of an old-school brawler with an iron… -

Re: PCGS Spot review, is two months too long?

Good luck! Mine took about 4 months. I didn't even get them back for Christmas Submission #: 9075689 Date Received: 8/24/2007 Date Shipped: 12/26/2007 Status: Shipped I think all but 4 of my 14 coins downgraded. My only First Strike coin (graded originally as a MS68) held though. The MS68 coin has visible milk spots and… -
Re: it's ridiculously easy to PROVE that silver eagles are mere bullion (ie silver rounds)

<< <i> << <i>hockeyfan9, so you do not go through something like this. a quote from a current post today: "Not all flippers are bad. I need guidance as to if a contemplated action is both ethical and acceptable. A while ago, I bought 100 2006-W ASE PCGS MS69 from a board member here. At the time, I thought that since PCGS… -

ASE date set
I have an NGC MS69 Silver date set. I started collecting in 2005 and bought the first 20 years for about $22 each on avg. I've been adding the newer date over the years except for this year. So 25 in all. I looked at them a few days ago and noticed milk spots on a couple including the 1996 which is the only one with a… -
Re: 2000 Linc. Wide A-M
Are these spots white or are they little black rings ? One is milk spots from the rinse, one is carbon spots. The only problem is that these carbon spots tend to keep a coin from grading over MS64. I haven't gotten many "milk spots" on coins except for silver. A question I have is : How do these marks come and how do they… -
Re: Boy have the prices bottomed out on these 20th Anniversary sets. Even In Pcgs.
<< <i>I have an unslabbed Rev Prf that developed a milk spot. It was in the mint capsule which was placed inside an Intercept Shield slab holder which are then stored in an Intercept Shield slab box. The slab box was in a tin box with dessicant gel and a corrosion inhibitor. Obviously, these don't inhibit the formation of…
