Re: expensive coins and resale
It depends mostly on the type of coin you buy. A 22K proof gold coin has lots of potential buyers and a pretty well defined market. A 22K colonial will have a much thinner market. Also, whatever type of coin you buy, keep in mind that the price you pay will matter. If you overpay, you're going to think resale sucks when… -
Re: Card shop find.....
Preowned... (2) Things you can take to the bank: 1. The blatant hypocrisy you will see from some of self labeled elites on this board will leave you scratching your head. 2. Re: I am too mad at eBay right now.......
It's be a good idea not to let people bid on your auctons if they ask you nicely to allow them to block you as a seller. Just so all your stupid comments are in one place, here is the other mathematical absurdity you claimed on the other thread: The most glaring thing about Bill BUckner is the fact that his lifetime .321 OB% is lower than the league average hitter of his time of .333. A first baseman/left fielder with that bad of an OB%… -

Re: Why do coin dealers put sheets and chairs on their showcases at the end of the day?
From the Great Book of NumisMysteries: The Real Reason Dealers Put Cloths and Chairs on Top of Their Cases At Night As many collectors can testify, coin dealers are really a form of vampire that will suck the life-blood from you in an instant. Less well known is that they also prey on one another. Coin shows present the… -
