It depends mostly on the type of coin you buy. A 22K proof gold coin has lots of potential buyers and a pretty well defined market. A 22K colonial will have a much thinner market. It's be a good idea not to let people bid on your auctons if they ask you nicely to allow them to block you as a seller. Its better to do it now, then after you find out somebody who doesn't want to do business with you has placed a bid. If you give a little free time helping out at the station or a gift here and there it gives you a little pull with the Police Dept.
