I still like my dog hair toning method. I did that quite by accident. It looks a lot more attractive than the picture suggests. If I were to do it intentionally, I'd probably choose a nicer speicman that didn't already have milky spots, etc. -

Danny, You could do what Gary did...He took a bus to Santa Monica Beach. Not a bad spot to hunt. I think Lancaster is like 114 to 125 miles to Oxnard. I like to take the 138 to Gorman, then down the 5 and catch the 126 to the coast. ;-) Jerry -

My wife said, "Somebody sent you a card like that?!?" At first glance it looks fine. You can see that the top suffered some stress fractures: But the most interesting thing is that there is a spot that melted. It's approximately the size of the pad of your pinkie. Not bad for a 1,850 mile journey. -

GoldBully - It appears PCGS is a bit more stringent than NGC in their grading of the MS in the set with past "spotting issues". PCGS appears to have more to lose in supporting a short-sighted 70 grade of a potential hopefully short-lived US mint quality control issue. Miles -

Serious money put down for an opening bid. You'd think someone putting down that kind of money would be somewhat an advanced collector who should be able to easily spot this coin as a being fake from a mile away. Maybe some opening shill bidding to suck bidders in?
