I suspect, that your scammers have tried the same M.O. with other sellers. I agree with derryb in getting PayPal's high value fraud department involved. With a potential 4 grand loss involved, it might be prudent to seek the help of an attorney.... -

So far, in this thread: "Scammers are running wild." "Paypal. . . the abuse keeps on coming." Paypal is making an attempt at protecting themselves, thus protecting you from fraud. I'd allow them to do their job in the hopes they'll have some success. -

here is the link from the registry board. I am in mickey's camp that the guy is an idiot but not a scammer , had his head up his a$$ but 3 buyers neg'd him for no reason and he got naru'd. not very fair. other thread on this issue -

Ebay has become something of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Buyers low ball their bids hoping for rips or because of overgrading and decent sellers can get more for the quality pieces at shows. That leaves Ebay wide open for the scammers and the drek & swill . -

If anyone, around here or knowledgeable in coins, considers SGS to be ANYTHING besides a scam, then I will be truly amazed!!!! The reply to the email doesn't surprise me. They are a pure scam. The seller is a scammer as well but it is most likely SGS starting the scam and the seller running with it. -

With your low post count you can forget selling them here unless you are willing to ship them prior to payment. We've had scammers sell coins here on the Buy, Sell, Trade Forum and not ship the coins after getting paid for them. Also, you'll need better pics.
