Low serial number notes
I recently purchased an estate filled with crisp uncirculated 1-2-5-10-20-50 dollar notes., about 2200 face value. Many are star and low serial numbers, such as 3 and 4 digit. Some of these have numbers such as 1972,1971,2000 2005, etc. What are these type of notes worth and how should I sell them. I am new to currency… -

Re: How important is it to reach #1?
I thought we all had #1 Sets!? If we each put our energies into the best set we can gather, make, or purchase, then we have created our #1 Sets! Where we stand on the PCGS Tally Board is incidental and a measure of our inventory. It's a useful tool that brings us together to allow us to discuss, learn, and even assist each… -
Re: 1904 Vam 3 spiked 1
1904 has an assortment of peculiarities surrounding the 1 in the date punch. There are coins from all mints that have a spike on the 1 like this, and coins that have a normal looking 1. It would seem to be a chip in a die that would be used to form the actual date punch. 1904-P seems to have a disproportionate number of… -
