      Actually I have probably about ten in 19 years. My auctions get a lot of bids thus a lot of interest. Maybe scammers are looking at ending coins and look for the items with lots of bids.

      they are slowly growing on me, but still not sold. am glad to see they are trying to keep up w the scammers and trying to thwart the process of placing a fake flip over a legit one...ie the light test.

      Unless you are known to the dealer or can provide references from other dealers who know you, have dealt with you and are in the room you should not be surprised if cash only is required. This is the age of the scammer.

      That's good - there are still plenty of crap slabs out there - for example, anybody of hear of WGC (World Grading Company)? Some scammer has a bunch of Quarter Eagle Indians in WGC holders up right now.

      that is absolutely absurd. do all you can through paypal and ebay. if that doesn't work, go see judge judy. she slammed an ebay scammer on her show a few weeks ago. -Paul

      I have found that the majority of "Private" auctions are from know crooks, scammers, and con artists. I realize that there are some that are not for legitimate reasons, however, many buyers will not even bid on a "Private" auction at all.
