Re: Poll: Will you buy a Wisconsin Extra-Leaf error quarter?

Rick Snow posted the following here a week ago.. food for thought.. You know human nature is a funny thing. There were (are) a lot of naysayers on this board. When the 1955 DD came out there was moderate interest. Ken Bressett said that he remembers being shown a roll of them in Maine (his words) offered at 25¢ each. He… -

Coins derive their fundamental value from collector interest, and to a much lower extent in the case of gold… -
Re: Have PSA centering guidlines changed through the years?
Every so often somebody raises the issue on whether or not standards have changed with PSA and other grading companies. In my latest SMR I noticed on page 53 a part about grading entitled - THE IMPORTANCE OF EYE-APPEAL AND SUBJECTIVITY IN GRADING Quoting from page 53 - "For example, while most cards fall cleary within the… -

Who was a better hitter(offensive player), Pujols or Manny?
@craig44 mentioned in another thread. I would say that 90% of the people automatically point to Pujols without hesitation, but does this fall into the 'depends how you look at it' category? Here are their career totals two key hitting measurements: OPS+ Manny 154 Pujols 145 So career wise, Manny maintains the higher…
