Die clash or rusted die on bicentennial IKE reverse ?
I am trying to decide what this is on the reverse of a bicentennial IKE. There is heavy die polish and mint work in the areas on both sides of the moon near 4 and 10 o'clock. The areas have die polish lines that seem to go under roughened areas. So is it die clash, rusted die, or something else? -

I went to the game tonight hoping that Jose would play, even though I knew it was 99% that he would sit. 1951 Berk-Ross & 1977 Pepsi Glove grading????
PSA lists prices for some 1951 Berk Ross cards (i.e. Hogan golf). Also the 1977 Pepsi glove set is listed in the registry. My question is how PSA grades and holders these off-size issues? I take it that the Berk Ross issues can be submitted without cutting the dual card, is that right? Is the grade then given for both… -

TThe 1833 capped bust quarter is a perfect example of what you refer to. The B2 always comes with rusted dies, and the B1 frequently does as well. I have owned a few examples, and certified two. I haven't ever noticed a deduction for rusted dies, and in more than one case I thought the "rusted" coin was actually OVER… -
