Re: Factors that make top provenance
This is interesting, but I suspect we may have quite a divergence of opinions. For what it's worth, a collection will never be considered great and a provenance to chase without documentation. i.e. a major auction sale at one of the main houses or a sylloge, such as that for the Schneider collection of English gold, is a… -

Re: Donations accepted here to assist homeless Charley victims

Hi All, My wife and I just returned a little while ago to my brothers house in merit island. There have been quite a few donations made via pay pal and some people sent checks to my home address and they were actually delivered! The mail carrier was applauded and cheered coming down the street. I'll post initials sometime… -
Re: Capital Plastics
<< <i>and, does anyone know of a way to stop the coins from sliding around (rotating) within the coin slots ??? >> Hi, watch out for the suggestion "a bit of clear varnish on the inside edge" or the like as many types can emit harmful gases. Re: Between 1930 and 1939 What Items Had Value In America?
CASH - not PMs - are going to be the key. Depend on it. Metal-Bulls just don't get it. You cannot have ultra-high PM prices and a population with no access to cash/credit. You must have forgot to read the accounts of the great depression where gold was so favored that the President had to ban ownership. The simple act of… -

Re: PCGS Submission Extreme Delay Unexplained -- Update 9/18

----UPDATE---- @PCGS_Cheyne As I thought this was on its way to a happy resolution, unfortunately this has degraded further. As I posted earlier, the coins were returned (Shipped Aug 28) not long after I reported above. However since then I have been conversing with CS about a problem with the order... which was that they… -
Re: Interesting article on attendance at sporting events
There are a few reasons why soccer, at least MLS soccer, will never become a mainstream sport in the U.S. (in some order): 1. We know we are not watching the best soccer players in the world. It's like watching AAA baseball. 2. There will probably never be "world class" American soccer player, like a Messi or Ronaldo.. If… -

Re: REA, Mile High, Fanatics Auctions...Post Your Winnings from these Auctions in the Last Few Days
I bid on one and won a single Mile High item (non Sports). Would have bid on more but 20% vig to them was absurd, it's not like they have near the same amount of eye balls as Heritage. Based on what I saw, bids I never placed as a result would have boosted the hammer on all that I would have, some by 2x. Makes me wonder…
