Good luck on your submission Jim!
Jay Wolt is everyone's favorite dealer. Here's a link to his site.

True but you could move up--remember--keep the cards that Dav needs off Ebay and sell to him directly.
Just think how bad you must feel when the Evil Empire or Fuzz win a card that you are auctioning that I need
Be sore to post the highlights here!
Any Red Sox cards from the 69 sub I'd be intersted in (if you're selling).
Thanks man!

collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
I don't know the answer to that. If Jay Wolt is reading this he would know. I believe one card was graded when I bought the set so perhaps I can tell this way.
Jim
That should give you first on the BB bucks set and probably the award for this year. Some of those guys behind me t the moment are kind of serious.
I have two near sets of 68 KDKA at PSA already. You may get one medal but I am hoping to get two. Good luck with those.
Everything else we're clear on.
71 Bell Brands??

I was wondering about that too. Good luck on the subs Jim.

Jim ,
Thanks for the reply concerning the 1935 Gallaher Stars of Screen and Stage .
I've considered sending a few UK cigarette sets to PSA for grading and this was one of the sets i had pencilled in .
As there are 2 different printings of the set , with different values , i was wondering if PSA would still grade sets with mixed backs .
I received an e-mail this morning from a collector with a Gallaher set registered , and that also is a mixed set , so it seems PSA do mix backs .
Al the best to all the best .
Mark .
Why worry. I am sure all those experts that PSA has in the spec. department can correctly name and label the cards. Well unless you have problems like this...

Good luck with it.
<< <i>There are six 70's sets on the list above. Clearly the standard is slipping. SHoulda must be dragging him done. What's next round cards? >>
Maybe the shiney cards? All those 1 of 1 parallel cards can be expensive to accumulate and the 800 card sets can get a bit pricey to grade.
<< <i>Now I am confused(and embarassed). I submitted this set of 20 Dodgers and labeled it 71 Bell Brand. Now I look at my album and I have the set as 71 Ticketron--Dodgers. No sets registered with PSA--anyone know much about this set? >>
Jim- In 1971 Ticketron issued a set of Dodger players and a set of Giants. They had the team schedule on the back, and are larger than the average card (and I'm guessing larger than Kahns and Kdka's, but I don't have them in front of me right now). The Dodger set is a lot easier, but also a lot nicer. I don't recall ever seeing one graded. I think this set may be the only appearance of HOF announcer Vin Scully, the greatest baseball commentator of all time (needed to stir up a flame war!)
Bell Brand Dodgers were issued in '58 (much tougher set, and the ugly one) and '60-62. The last 3 years were standard size, the '58's larger.
Best of luck with your submission.

Roughly one third of the set was off center--I submitted the other two thirds. I will upgrade and fill in and try to get an 8 or better set.
Hopefully I can buy a big chunk I need from one person so I don't have to play the one by one by one game.
Anthony,
Thank you. The cards are beautiful. I am surprised noone has entered this set on the registry....and you are right, it is Scully's only card. I thought this and checked VCP and there are no cards listed for him.
Fuzz,
I have not yet run out of 60s and before--still have a bunch of 60s hockey and non-sport stuff raw, some coin sets from 50s and 60s, post cereal in both baseball and football, and some other surprises.

Your set will probably be slabbed in T-3 holders with mylar card condoms since they are a little too big to fit in the standard tallboy holder. Anthony is right about the thin card stock. In fact, unless PSA now has a T-3 holder that can snugly fit a 4" x 6" card, given the thin card stock, they might end up having to slab the cards inside the condom as opposed to on top of it.
For all Vin Scully fans, here are a few cards i sent in for grading a few years ago....
