The 1937 Canadian coin designs

This post is largely stimulated by two recent threads, one by AuldFartte in late January (in which he noted the relative decline in posting on the forum), to which neildrobertson responded by recommending that people "be the change you want to see..." Neil then proceeded to do just that by beginning a terrific thread on… -
New Set Proposal: Multi-Player Cards

Hey gang, A week or so ago we had a discussion on combo cards, or multi-player cards. 1420Sports (Neal) mentioned that he was surprised there wasn't a set on the registry based on these cards. After exchanging a couple emails (and a fax) with 1420Sports, I decided to put together a list. This was a lot easier to put… -

Re: RIP Silvereagle92
Here's Chad's Essay which he wrote when he was 15... I was drawn to numismatics at the tender age of eight. My great-grandfather had quite an accumulation of coins - a hoard of sorts. His accumulation included several thousand wheat cents, a few hundred Buffalo nickels, loads of 90% silver, and even the occasional gold… -
The Million-Dollar Penny (WSJ article)
Thought this was an interesting read: Link When is a penny worth a million dollars? When it's a 1795 reeded-edge U.S. penny, one of only seven known to exist. It recently sold for nearly $1.3 million at auction—the first time a one-cent coin has cracked the million-dollar price barrier. It follows the sale earlier this…
