A complete set of proof silver eagles in 2004 including the 1995-W for $3200. I sold the 1995-W in mid 2005 for $4K and still have the rest of the set. I kinda wish I would have kept it now. It is an amazing set with beaming lustere and no sign of any milk spots. -

HMM...milk spots and hairlines? Most of the time when I get a batch of "unopened" proof sets that have some AHs in them, the coins "coincidentally" turn out to be junk. Not that I'd be hinting that these sellers would be less than completely honest about the "unopened" status of the sets they sell. Russ, NCNE -
Thoughts on these error Quarters?
I just finished going through my Patsy Mink quarters last night for sending into bulk grading and wanted to see what you guys thought about these errors and possible errors I found. Any value for any of this? 1st is what I believe is a Rockwell Test Mark. Almost a perfect circle hole and it is quite deep. 2nd looks like… -

Looks AT to me, but what do I know. Let PCGS determine that All I see are 2 nasty fingerprints, couple of milk spots and some very bright toning rarely seen on 100yr old coins So I turn to the experts at PCGS to decide for me... PCGS opinion on toning -

I have never heard of a CAC sticker hurting the value of a coin. If you like a piece enough and plan on keeping it is always a good ego boost to get the bean. If anything, it validates you spotted a good example of the series. If the downside is $16.50 and shipping, and that takes milk off your table, then do not do it. -

Its a buck that a week ago was worth about 17 bucks, now its a buck that's worth about 12.75 bucks, unless of course its a 2008 rev of 07, then its worth about 500.00 bucks, until it gets milk spots, then you'd have to check with the precious metals forum for a price......... -

That sure is odd, couln't tell what that is. Just to give you a heads up, I have had excellent results storing ASE's in vacuum sealed bags. Some have been sealed for 6 years, no milk, no spots. I use the Food Saver brand. Good luck with your Eagle's. -

For $60-$75 I might be a buyer. I don't find the toning attractive, looks like it fought with a red Crayon. Bochiman's toners, very nice. drwstr123's toner, nothing to say, but WOW. Wish mine would tone like that, I'm good at milk spots though. Scott
