Q: Why the fuss over holed coins?
From what i've read, mainly book about western mining towns in the latter half of the 1800s, holed coins were reviled. A holed coin was lighter than a "whole" coin. Russ has been known to play with us at times,but I think he may have been fooled for a minute on this'un. No biggie because he himself straightened it all out.
