In the case of this coin, the toning is obviously ugly and will likely detract from the value. So, would pcgs be under any obligation to buy it back if it is AT? This just looks like bullion to me, including the milk spots. -

I would not worry about it. What is the worst that could happen? Some toning? For sure that wood box isn't the source of the ASE milk spots! Big frigging deal! Besides it will keep the moths away! -

I used to have them back in the day from 1986-2007 and sold them all. Now, I won't build the set because I worry about milk spots down the road. -

No there is no way he stuff that roll in that other roll with out it looking like it was new. The paper roll will be all wrinkled and it's to long. They are all freshly dipped out frankies they will never get the milk spots off. -

Coins that went bad in the holders---putty showing up as a chalky residue, improperly rinsed dip causing a coin to discolor, red copper turning browm, milk spots developing on silver proofs, etc. -

Nice contrast on the reverse but not the obverse. I'd be more worried about the milk spots on the reverse. I theorize that it had obverse toning and was dipped in hopes of revealing a cameo obverse that matched the reverse. jmho -
