I got my 2005 Kennedys today.
HORRIBLE!!! The best ones are at most MS64. The D mint ones look to be milk spotted. It does not come off with acetone! -

I would assume that if General Mills worked out the details for a 20,000,000 package promotion well in advance of actually putting coins into cereal boxes, which would be logical, then it KNEW that it needed 5,500 Dollar coins and therefore it ORDERED 5,500 Dollar coins. I understand that logic as some of them already have milk spots, so the risk of even more developing over time is very real. -

No. The guarantee now excludes contaminants not apparent at the time of grading. Which pretty much covers everything from putty to PVC to milk spots. :/ Lance. -

Milk Spot city on some of them! Fortunately, PCGS can save the proofs (actually hopefully) but the BS coins usually end up with a downgrade. -

Appears to me that there are a few milk spots starting to grow on the coin. Hard to photograph coins and show the true cameo effect, but I don't see it.
