      I hope you are implying for the better on the other proofs. I have a complete (except the 95W) raw proof set. No milk spots on any of em.

      71s, 72s, and 73s are generally more hazy with milk spots, but I have seen a few 72s & 73s that approach the toning of 74s (but not quite the same).

      HORRIBLE!!! The best ones are at most MS64. The D mint ones look to be milk spotted. It does not come off with acetone!

      Would that even matter? Does PCGS guarantee a coin for above its PCGS guide value? Plenty of toned ASEs are MS 67 or below. The PCGS guide for this grade is below $50 for most dates. The market value can easily be 10x guide. On a similar note, didn't the TPGs stop guaranteeing ASEs that develop milk spots? Has that…

      No. The guarantee now excludes contaminants not apparent at the time of grading. Which pretty much covers everything from putty to PVC to milk spots. :/ Lance.
