1997-98 Upper Deck Series 2 Basketball Blisters

I’m curious if anyone has any thoughts about value on 1997-98 Upper Deck Series 2 Basketball Blisters, or any other info such as rarity. I think unopened examples are probably absurdly rare, mostly because series 2 unopened is fairly tough as is, jumbos seem to be very rare, and over the past 4 years or so I’ve never seen… -
Re: 2026 (1776-2026) enhanced uncirculated Morgan VS Peace Dollar.
Whether a Morgan or Peace dollar is more attractive is a matter of personal preference, as both are iconic U.S. silver coins with distinct styles. Morgan dollars (1878–1921) are favored for their classic, realistic, and highly detailed design. Peace dollars (1921–1935) are celebrated for their modern, Art Deco-influenced… -
Re: Anyone want ngc lucky submission number?

1) Not sure it is the same at NGC, but IIRC at PCGS, you get a submission number that identifies your entire order. And, then each coin in the submission gets its own cert number. The auction appears to be for the submission number, not the cert number. 2) Auction appears to be in Hong Kong. Perhaps there is some cultural… -

The Athena bowl, also called the Minerva bowl after the goddess's Roman name, is one of four… -
1815/2 and 1836 reeded edge half dollars... Added photos to first post
... I'm hoping to be able to pick them up in a month or two. These are not run of the mill busts, but they aren't top of the pop either. They do look awesome though. The first is an ANACS 1815/2 in f12 The second is an ANACS 1836 reeded edge in vf30. The 36 looks well beyond 30 to me and the 15/2 just looked way too… -
Re: Type-2 3 trime: great investment potential?
MR has been making the same general recommendations for type coins since the early to mid 1980's when I first started reading him. The Type 2's in gem made sense as to complete a gem type set of all designs it was needed...and quite scarce. I think that recommendation worked ok during the run up to 1989, but has fallen… -
1828 capped Bust Dime, Large Date, Curl base 2.

Only 2 dime varieties exist for the year 1828. This is an example of the JR-2 variety, distinguished by a larger date and a curled base in the '2' in the date. JR-2 is (only) described as R-3 and the scarcer of the two varieties, but, in my experience it is deceptively difficult to find in better grades. This example has…
