While a polite message may seem in order, I disagree. The burden is on the website itself, and in this case, the Registry side of their house. To just assign willy-nilly weightings to cards just to fulfill a requirement is ludicrous. If that's the original object, then they may as well give every card a weight of 1 and… -

Regarding weighting... The Type 2 is no-question the toughest in all grades except possibly MS66. And there are so few MS66, and they were graded over such a wide time frame, that it's folly to try to draw too much statistical signficance from them. My understanding is that some, if not most, of the weighting is done by a Registry member for that set. I have submitted several Excel spreadsheets for football and hockey sets that were not yet weighted. There are no set rules as to how to do the weighting. I changed my mind. I looked up the 1962 set on the registry - Yankees team is weighted a 3 while Cepeda is weighted a 2. Since the registry is a big factor I would say the Yankees team would sell for more. -
