Re: 10,000!

For #10k, I was going to type out a really long post, discussing my time here (good and bad), the thank yous and all of that. Sorta like the complete opposite of a "I'm quitting the boards" thread. Just seems so melodramatic to commemorate a number, ya know. So I'm going to do it with post # 10,001 But seriously, I do want… -
Re: In Which Decade was Coin Collecting at its Finest?
As others have said, it depends. When I started collecting coins in the early 1960s, you could find about anything in change, because they had not yet stopped making silver dimes, quarters and half dollars. Coins circulated. I found most non key Lincoln Cents, Buffalo Nickels, Mercury Dimes in change. In the mid to late… -

Having good grading skills is not a solution, unless we are going to… -
Re: Some of us are having fun with Bootleg over the BST Forum
Bootlegger, I am sorry for what transpired on the BST board today. It is bad for the forum to have such ugliness. I think that things started to go in the wrong direction. Perhaps, I could have stopped it, but instead I threw gasoline on the fire. It was not pretty, and I apologize for it. FYI, you are dealing with a… -
Re: Need help with ornery ebayer.
<< <i>I don't think my auction was misleading. I really don't have anything against giving the guy his money back, but I hate to be accused of 'duping' someone. Any thoughts out there on how to deal with this? or whether my auction could have been drafted better? >> Hub's original question. After giving this thought - due… -

Re: Let's talk about our "Jimmy the Greek specials"
Gamblers know the odds are usually against them. All they ask is a fair shake for their money. Which is what they get with completely legit sites such as DK, FD, etc. Those are trustworthy, even on large scores, that you'll be paid in full. Offshore sites? They are as trustworthy as the black plague of death. And one thing…
