My dad actually designed some of the air to air/ship missile and fire control systems on the first nuclear powered Enterprise...along with its nuclear escort ship USS Long Beach! The newest USS Enterprise (CVN-80) is currently under construction at Newport News. -

So, I get a small batch of 1964 sets in today (5), and all the halves have nicely cameo'd reverses - with brilliant obverses. All the nickels look like this: With, of course, brilliant reverses. It was about access and money for the schools on the outside before. Now it’s nuanced. Petitti’s argument is that it makes the regular season more interesting by keeping more teams in the running.
