Agree. It was the one coin that caught my attention as well. The CAL coins have something in common with the “restrikes” that were made from the gold rush shipwreck salvage bars. Both have the allure of knowing they were minted from California Gold Rush metal. Separately there is the mystique about just who is responsible… -

Thanks I was thinking au too. It wasn't a trick question but I submitted it raw along with a 1900 $10. The 1835 $2 1/2 came back in a genuine holder 98 damaged or tooled. I can't see any damage apart from a couple of small scratches above the eagles eyes. Is that considered damage on such an early coin? I don't think it's… -

No grey area here -very straightforward. I have and always used human keystrokes to get my order in. I am successful 99% of the time. V75 Gold - Flowing Hair Silvers - etc. all of the hard ones. Sometimes was even lucky enough to get in on quantities when HHL was released on Day 2 of offerings. But something has to be done… -
