Have the following lot of 50, 1960 Topps Baseball cards available for $95 delivered. These cards average NrMt, with most of the imperfections being centering issues. Carlos Beltran IS over hyped/rated, and is not as good as one may think!
Plain and simple, Beltran is nowhere near as good as the savior he is being made out to be. Facts: Simply put the man has NEVER finished in the TOP ten in OB%, or SLG%, or OPS! Not even one top ten finish! His lifetime totals are now AVG .284, OB% .353, SLG% .490! In todays game that means there are MANY, MANY better… -

Re: Jim Rice is a no show again
I think the voters compare newly eligible players to even more recent statistics. Rice hit about 400 home runs. In today's world that is hard to seem like that was a great career. His career best for home runs was 46 and 39. Again in today's game that isnt a hall of fame player. I think the voters are having a hard time… -

<< <i> << <i>What do you think about that? >> I think it would be interesting to see the dollar value required to get into the top 10 in each division. Re: New York Fan Sites Reports the Mets Have Signed Carlos Beltran
The Astros first offered $70 million, then $75 million, then $84 million and finally $100 million over seven years with a chance to make it $112 million over eight years if the 2012 option was granted. The final offer was more money than Houston has ever offered any player, and that includes Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio,…
