FSH: PCGS Lincolns: One Left
Greetings! These are some really nice PCGS Lincolns. Each of these cents is worth having for its excellent eye appeal on the obverse and the reverse, and are noted below for special qualities. (The obverse of the 43-S steelie is the one unfortunate exception.) Unless the price guides have changed a lot in the past year, I… -
Re: The Angels and Trout...
I'm gonna give him the 2022 season to show he can stay on the field. He has already turned 30 years old, while still young, the calendar starts flipping quicker ;) His torrid start in his early 20's leaves him in a good spot. He needs to average just 19 homers a year to hit 500 assuming he plays through 40. A spot near the… -

Re: Strong prices being seen for Dollars!! (opinions)
I believe Morgans will have price increases for most of this year or even longer. Just this week the common date ms66's went up $19 bid $30 ask ($254/$280). I paid ask ($250) for these just 2 weeks ago at the FUN show. This is a big price jump. I still believe the greysheet is behind in pricing especially CC's and DMPL's.… -
Re: Am I a traitorous swine???
I joined NGC a few months ago. I got my first submission back in about 3 weeks. 19 coins, 3 came back 70. What I like about NGC: 1) Quick turn around times (I guess PCGS has too many submissions) 2) Modern coins go back to 1955 3) $11 for moderns 4) They give 70's to coins that deserve the grade Faster, better, cheaper -… -
Re: FUN signature auction is now up for bidding!!
<< <i>I own 19 of these VDBs in the World Series of Coin Trading and only made $216K to date. If I could only spend it. Mike >> Mike, for this year's World Series I decided to go after the 1990 no S Lincoln cent. I wanted them all! So I now have them all. A total of 92. Still only got me to 52nd place and some of that is… -
Re: Hey Merc Collectors-What Date Are The Toughest!
I would add the '19-D, and the '27-D & S. If you're going after FB coins, the '45-P has to be on the list. The Big 3 (lowest original mintages) - the '16-D, '21-P, & '21-D can be found in larger auctions with some regularity, but there are other dates that are scarcer. The problems are having the $$, and being willing to… -
Re: Where are all the MS66 / 67 Ike's
I posed a similar question a few weeks back regarding the '53-S (MS Franklin) FBLs. There 12 64s, 19 65s, and 1 66, yet there are only a few 64 and less than half of the 65 pop in the registry. The 66 is in the #1 set. I think in part of the answer to your question and mine is 1) not all the top sets are registered; (2)… -
