Re: Found a "Ghost" Coin: 103 Mintage Gold. Is Israeli Numismatics the most undervalued play right now?
Very well daid @WCC and of course @Sapyx . As for its current or future value, if it is sold in Israel by an auction house, targetting the collectors of this particular series, it depends a lot on its official issue price by the Bank of Israel. Outside Israel, things are very different. With the huge rise of the price of… -
2003 DLP Rookies & Traded Baseball (2 retail box breaks).
These were the 19.99 boxes with 8 packs in each that you can get at Walmart, KMart, Target, etc....KMart was having one of their buy 1 get the second for 1/2 price so I couldn't resist...I didn't pull the most awesome cards but I do think I did okay on them...The autographs aren't anything major but in retail it's cool for… -
Babe Bows Out Nat Fein Type 1 vs Type 2
Hi all - new to the hobby and I’ve been obsessed with Nat Fein’s The Babe Bows Out for a long time. I’ve been tracking a few over the years and notice all the Type 1’s that have sold at Goldin, SCP and others have all had Fein’s Stamp and the New York Herald Tribune stamp. According to PSA’s photography expert Henry Yee, a… -
is this a counterfeit gold 2 1/2 indian? big pics

I Picked up this indian for below melt from a local dealer. He is not an expert on gold, or much else, but he felt it was a counterfeit because of the raised ridge that goes around the coin about just inside the rim. I have looked at other real gold and have noticed similar raised ridges. The coin has very good detail and… -
$2-1/2 Indian, 1911-D weak D.
I'm going to submit some Quarter Eagles and wondered how PCGS differentiates between the 1911-D and weak D. I'm assuming that it will be noted in some fashion on the insert since the PCGS pop report makes the distinction, is that true?? Also, the PCGS price guide lists the two types but the GreySheet lumps everything… -
Is anybody else here wild about $2-1/2 and $5 Indians?
I like all kinds of coins from gold to silver to copper, you name it. In fact, I'm not even a collector really, I'm an accumulator. But I have absolutely fallen in love with the Indian half and quarter gold eagles. Unfortunately these aren't exactly cheap, so it may take me a long time to build up a nice collection. But it… -

If you like Exonumia you may enjoy this beaut!!

It's coming up for auction soon, a Brian Boru Dollar in Silver, HK-390. This design doesn't show for sale very often in any planchet type but it's usually aluminum when found. NGC lists 21 in Silver but I've only seen 2-3. The real prize is the single Bronze example listed by NGC. Just a lovely design. Enjoy. Maywood.
