I think this is the wrong forum for your post but regardless, The 1971, 2 and 3 prestige sets were encased in a red flocked display case. These "controversies" would only affect future value if the "controversy" in question resulted in coins being either withdrawn and destroyed or simply not issued in large numbers, with a "replacement" design where the controversial aspect is rectified being issued in larger numbers. I purchased this today and viewing it with a 10X loupe, swear I can see what appears to be a very faint D. Does anyone out there know of any die markers that will tell me if this is in fact a D mint? Unfortuantely, the close-up pic isn't very good. -
