Post a coin that reflects ( corresponds with) the spot price of silver ((or gold) today.

Here for example is an 1881 Gold Liberty Half Eagle graded by PCGS.



Spot price of silver is currently $18.81, so to start it off:

Simply pick a coin to post which reflects the current spot price of silver.



We may stay between $ 17.92 and $20.16 (silver prices) for a while, thus giving us a chance to post several different dates of U.S. Coins along the way. (for the silver and gold bugs who are bored on the boards )



This thread might serve as a gauge for volatility or at least entertain collectors, throughout the coming weeks or months.

    Yes, a "broken S", older NGC-40 holder. I have seen it on a couple other SL Halves, but don't know if it is considered a well known variety or not?
