Hopefully counterfeit coins will come under scrutiny

They must be running out of airports. image

Whole body scanners coming soon to a flea market near you?

I doubt counterfeit coins will come under scrutiny based on this. They had BIG BIG CORPORATIONS with their panties in a wad over flea market activity so of course this was a matter for Homeland Security. I'm surprised the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, NSA, Coast Guard, Army, Marines and Navy weren't involved...or maybe they were but we will just never know about it.

Great, Homeland Security is spending 2.5 years and millions of dollars hanging around flea markets now. They likely have their own Homeland Security Flea Market Division by now. Instead of protecting US Mint products they help the corporations and hang out at flea markets. Ugh!

Here locally the flea markets are known for "hot" or stolen products

For example oakland flea market is known for cheap, stolen products.
    Bikes for $40
    Cd players for $15-20
    Ps3's for $50
    Xbox 360 for $40
    NIB macbooks for $350
    NIB Iphones fot $200
    Etc.
Police have done periodic raids, where most vendors have been arrested lots of them were buying or operating shoplifting rings
Ive seen mach4 replacement packages being sold for $3-4

Its about time they started cracking down
When our house was robbed 4 years ago, we recovered most of stolen items from this flea market from a single vendor.
He got a slap on the wrist 1 year suspended sentence aka court probation of 1 year.

the Feds are consolidating power under DHS.

Customs and Immigration are now under DHS.

I don't know what department this was, but I'm guessing chasing counterfeits is part of customs / ICE
