Well, just Love coins, period.
<< <i>Pre-strike planchet striations. They look a bit regular to be weight adjustment however. Planchet and/or strip marking regardles; I think these are going to be classed as planchet adjustment marks. >>
All of them?

7Jaguars is still correct, though. Roller marks are a form of planchet striations.

The only one I'm not 100% sure about is the last one.

<< <i>I'll put my money on pre-strike roller marks on the last one as well as you can see where the coin's strike has begun to obliterate these lines... >>
My only concern is lack of change in the depth of those line as they go from fields into design elements and back.

IMO, his contention that these marks are caused by counting machines is utterly preposterous.
I think I see what you mean about the striations, but if you look at where a vertical clothing line crosses these striations, it seems most of the lines [at least to my poor eyes] do fade?
Counting marks? NOT(!), and I do not agree whatsoever.
I still do not understand how in that link they exclude other pre-strike planchet, or more likely sheet rolling marks or other contacts to the metal sheets prior to punching planchets out.
