Canadian Wildlife Series

Hey guys, this is my first post in this forum.

I recently began collecting each coin in the Canadian Wildlife Series in MS70 from ANACS. Do you think it will be a valuable collection down the road, relative to other modern issue collections? What do you think? I basically have been purchasing the coins as they are released from the Canadian Mint. I have been paying on average $120 for each through a reputable company on autoship. I have seen some of these coins sell for $160 on ebay every now and then so I feel like I am getting a pretty good deal.
Best Regards,
Nathan Conner

  • Nathan-
I love the series- not sure I would pay the 70 premiums though (although I bought a 70 wolf). I moved down to just air-tite holders. they're great coins
    This is so fun

You will most likely lose money. Unless silver goes to $200.

  • Thanks for the speculation. The company I buy from has a 5 year 100% buyback program on all "autoship" coins. So while most avid collectors lose money, I get mine back at cost, guaranteed. It isn't a gold and silver brokerage, so they are allowed to do that.

Guarantees are only as good as the paper on which they are written. And folks in these parts (the forums) dont much appreciate paper things.

BTW---The "company you are buying from", wouldnt happen to be yourself, would it?

Here's a little help with your advertising.

  • A guarantee is better then nothing. That is what other dealers offer, nothing. I am simply an Independent Contractor of a company that deals directly with ANACS, PCGS, and NGC, and is a member of the ANA. One of the most famous coin experts in the world, Mike Mezack, is one of our cofounders. I buy my coins, and keep my coins. They are not inventory to sell, I just simply enjoy collecting them.

What about you? Are you a coin dealer?

I usually buy a few raw in airtites as they are released and generally within a year or three can make all my money back and keep one gratis so to speak.Buying at top dollar is an excellent way to go broke fast with bullion.

    Meet The team
Ian along with lifelong friend and business partner Chris Kent, recently launched Numis Network, a direct selling company that markets numismatic collector coins. Of course, Numis Network is a customer of IDSTC and utilizes the IDSTC platform for its operational needs. Ian's unique combination of experience as both a successful direct selling company executive and technology company executive provides unmatched leadership for IDSTC and its clients. Ian graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business management from the University of Florida.

Hey Nathan, I don't see you on the Meet The Team page. Are you a newbie? You need a spiffy YouTube presentation like the one for your boss
  • They're nice looking rounds, but they're bullion. Slabs are a waste of money.
  • You could say I am a newbie. I recieved my business degree from a top business school, came into Numis Network after my Uncle and Grandpa, both being lifelong entrepreneurs and avid numismatists, said it was one of the best business concepts they had ever seen.

But enought about my experience. Through Numis I have acquired quite a large collection of various coins from all over the world, and we has expanded our selection quite a bit since 2009. Numis Network is a company that is celebrating its 3rd anniversary in August, and it has been enjoyable to watch a company go from very small to over $40,000,000/annual sales in such a short time. I am excited to see where this company goes over the next 5-10 years, and how it will transform the Numismatics industry.

As far as my youtube videos. I have my own youtube channel where I teach people marketing @TheNCmoney. I have been able to generate approximately 50 leads/week from the internet, without any paid advertising, using what I have learned in this business and what my business partners have taught me. I am young, but very self-sufficient.image

I am an independent contractor, not a founder. You can find my profile on my blog. The record breaking retail sales so far for an independent contractor in our company in the 2.5 years we have been in business is $250,000 in 60 days @ an average 18.5% commission. This was accomplished by an ex-financial advisor.
