Still a nice example, hopefully the areas of discoloration are less apparent in hand.
I know photography can bring out the worst in large cents!

Thats right Broadstruck.
Hoard the keys.
Nice photography! Coin...looks like bad surfaces/cleaned from the images.
Best,
Eric
an easy attribution because of those cracks @ S-A in states and the digits in the date
I'll go with N-11
common die marriage but still a nice coin with a lot of meat
probably an AU from the images but i can see some potentially nice luster bands
.
AWESOME job with the photos, I wish I had half your knowledge.

I agree with LanceNOCC that it is an N-11 R-1.
N-9, N-10, & N-11 use the same rev.
The N-11 obv has the remnants of lines
left of the upright of the 1 and has a small
die chip at the inside lower curve of the 8.
there are also extra points on stars 8, 9, 10 & 11.
Do not know a price.

just want to point out for those making notes that the n9 and n11 share a reverse, the n10 does not share one with them
although it looks like to me the leaf tip under F terminates in different places on all three reverses, strange
.
<< <i>great close up
