Need some help with 6 Byzantine coins

Got these 6 Byzantine coins, but I know next to nothing about this stuff,
would be gratefull , to know at least what they are called ,

front & back , dont know what's the back or the front image or what kind of material they are made of,
obviously they came out of the ground somewhere.

  • they all look to be c 1140 to 1250 byzantine billon tetradrachmas. BUT...the second one looks the most interesting-- I dont know if its the camera lighting but it looks silver or silverish(?) and by its style, looks like it could be a scarce late Byzantine silver coin of the 1300s to 1400s.

    Thanks for your reply, Coach

I guess its made out of billon , not of high grade silver.

here are some more detailed pics of the number 2 coin:

  • Yeah does seem to be billon (mixture of copper and silver) but even for a billon coin the silver high spots seem to be more silvery than your typical 12th to 13th century byzantine billon coin. That second piece could be still an 1100s or 1200s Byzantine coin, but the front side especially has an ultra crude late byzantine look. I will try and find a website with pics of those coins.
