How Did This 1953 Mathews Get a 2?

I have no idea how this got a 2. It is by far the best 2 i have ever seen. The only problems i see are a small surface crease under the braves symbol on the front that you can barely see, and the centering on the front and back is off. There is also a slight tape mark on back right. Can someone please tell me how this got a 2 because i have seen 3s and 4s that look worse than this one.

    100-0 centering on back? maybe requested no qual from the tape etc you mentioned?

    Then I believe it becomes speculation... I've seen cards at a 4 that make you go ??????? and cards at a 2 that make you go ???????

    As stated above, crack and resub.

    I'm not sure how the centering on the back effects it though

    I think i may just crack it out and leave it in my collection as raw. I dont wanna spend the money to resub if its only gonna come back a 3 or a 2 again.

    It should have received a MC. The back is miscut and I dont know if psa has a 2 as minium grade for miscuts like the auto PSA 1 for pin holes.
