*** "choose your title"

This has likely been discussed before but I never caught it.... I see many forumites with 10k+ posts.......yet still prompted to "choose your title"............

Why haven't you chosen a title yet? No longer an option? This seems like an honor and denotes some longevity here even if you haven't contributed much of worth. image I don't know if I'll ever get to 10k given my post rate....... so what's up for the rest of you that have but still lack the clever title?

    Good folks like shamika (for example) have 16k+ posts yet still no title. What's up with that?

    I'll never make it that far. If I did I suppose it would be "Retired" since that would be the only way I could achieve that status.

    No one is forced into choosing a title. Some people may not wish to select one.

    I've called and emailed PCGS several times with no reply - any suggestions??

    Is it a do it yourself project??

    You have to first host a 10k post giveaway.
    That gets their attention.

    Ok TallGuy.......you've got 18 posts in about 5.5 years......based upon my calculations, and assuming that you maintain that posts-per-year rate, you'll hit 10K in about the year 5070!

    I waited for months after hitting 10,000 to select a title. Wanted to wait until I had the inspiration for the right one.
    Something took years to build up wasn't going to be selected on a whim like my forum name was....lol.
