bizz/proof strikes

i know we see alot of coins with "struck from reverse proof dies with business obverse dies and vice-versa with moderns

"2008 eagles with proof reverse dies" comes to mind or "close am/wide am" lincolns

how hard would it be if you had a classic or obsolete attributed so???

what would the process be too???

You would have to get a recognized expert in the series to agree with your assessment. The coin, along with the assessment of the expert could then be forwarded to ANACS who may then recognize the piece.

PCGS requires a lot more work though but you still have to get a recognized expert for the series of coin involved.

If the series is a popular series like the Lincolns and Silver Eagles are, then the process becomes much simpler.

"2008 eagle with proof reverse"??? I do not recall the US Mint saying that Proof Dies were used to create this variety. Is this new information?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
