1986-87 Fleer Basketball Set

Hi,

I am working on a 1986-87 Fleer Basketball set in a PSA 8-8.5 (a few 9s in there too). Is this set worth building with the commons being graded? I just saw a PSA set with stickers on EBay end at 1750 with the reserve not met. Thinking about getting rid of my graded commons and getting them raw, and keep the stickers and stars graded. Any opinions?

That sounds like a better plan. Do it raw and have the keys graded. But try and keep them centered if you are doing it by hand.

Thank you, I have officially decided to do it that way. I don't know how that set lost so much value, but it is not worth buying the PSA 8s (paying for shipping also)

I've built three of these sets in PSA 9 grade and working on another set. I am only buying the rookies in PSA 9, and buying the rest RAW in NM/MT condition and putting those cards in pages. I think it's easily the best value.
