east coast world coin dealers?

Who sells older world coins on the east coast, and has a store that you can visit to browse inventory?

I'm really just wondering if there is a shop nearby that I can visit to browse old (preferrably hammered type) English coins, or medals, tokens, etc..

Unfortunately I'm in no position to travel overseas, where I should go to find this type of inventory, so I was hoping someone knows of an alternative.

Any ideas?

    Try Paul Bosco in NYC.

    And nothing can beat the NY International Numismatic Convention in January.

    Agree with EVP. Stack's holds very little world inventory yet NEN has lots on their website. Top notch material at a premium.
    Bosco has LOTS of medals at his NYC location. Any collecting theme you desire. Specifically, he has many Jetons which may be of interest to you - LINK

    Thanks guys, I did meet Paul Bosco at the NYINC but he was a very busy man and didn't have the time (understandable). I saw some of his inventory there, so he may just be exactly what I'm looking for.

    Just keep in mind that NYS has a sales tax on coins. Here in Erie County (Buffalo) it is 8.75%.

    I'll enthusiastically support the Bosco recommendation!

    If you've seen the amazing material he brings to shows, and then realize
    that this is a tiny, tiny, tiny fraction of his inventory --- wow!

    Unless you're buying widgets, a few points on a purchase should never matter. And if it does, odds are you should not be making the purchase in the first place.

    I find Paul Bosco very dismissive, personally. I have spoken to him and his wife on ocassion and have found them very unhelpful and rude when looking for particular issues. They do not know me from Adam I understand, but I do not like being treated as if I am wasting one's time when I am willing to spend money. Sorry. -Dan

    I had a series of great experiences in Bosco's store (when he had one). I still have a lot of the pieces he sold me.

    I thought Amon Carter was a US collector- lived in Washington back in the day- might have been Spokane

    I never doubted you or the pedigree- image

    I just associated Amon Carter as a US Collector- I believe he had one of the finest known 1893-S Morgan Dollars among other rarities
