An old friend comes back home...

I spotted this coin in a Heritage Auction a few weeks back and knew I had to have it back home.

Collect for the love of the hobby, the beauty of the coins, and enjoy the ride.
  • The coin does look might nice. However, I do have a question that I hope that you could explain to me. What does the designation of FH stand on the graded slab. Being somewhat new, I am not familiar with that designation.

Well, now, I can see why you'd want it to come home.

I'm thinking of trying to lure my old Roman Caligula back home. Caligula was a nasty fella, from all accounts, but he's the only one I lack to finish up my Roman Twelve Caesars collection now, and I want him back. (He was part of that large collection I sold off in '08 when I lost my job due to a layoff.)

But enough about that. That's a gorgeous SLQ, man.

Been a while, but I remember when you submitted your enitre collection of SLQ's to PCGS for the pedigree at the show. Nice collection it was

To supplement this correct answer, "Full Head" can be described as having all of the deatails in the hair well defined, the hair line along face raised and complete, the eyebrow visible,, and the check rounded.

P.S. Awesome coin. It must be a great feeling having a coin 'come back home'. Like a long lost relative heh.

Your 100% correct, this is a discussion forum.
Discuss the coin - not the reason I bought it or sold it,
that's is just plain nosey. In this case, it was insensitive.

Don't resort to name calling either.
I do not appreciate your antagonism.
    Its unbecoming and childlike.
